No one knows how to stage a party like Perth!   After dark, the restaurants, pubs and clubs of  Northbridge, Mount Lawley, Fremantle and Subiaco come alive.  Join the party atmosphere or dine on sumptuous local cuisine at one of the many great restaurants.

Fine food and wine is now as Western Australian as sunshine and booming surf.  It’s all about fresh produce, eating out on in the fresh evening air and friendly service.

Perth CBD
The west end of the central city area, along Hay, Murray and King Street offers the biggest range of options. The busiest time is Friday night which pulls the after-work crowd and late night shoppers. There are several pubs offering casual dining, as well as theatres and bars. Just a few minutes drive from the city, Burswood Entertainment Complex boasts a choice of restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Northbridge
The area bordered by William, James, Aberdeen and Parker Streets is where you’ll find restaurants offering every cuisine imaginable, as well as pubs, bars and clubs.  On weekends the streets are full of revellers. Northbridge is 5 minutes from the CBD.

Leederville
Oxford Street is always busy in the evenings.  Full of after-work professionals, families and students, the crowd is diverse.  Many outlets are café style with Mediterranean food, but you can also find Asian and seafood restaurants, pizza parlours and kebab take-aways.  The Leederville Hotel is a happening place, as is Oxford Hotel, at the northern end of the street. Leederville is 5 minutes from the CBD.

Cottesloe
For beachside pubs and cafes check out Marine Tce, while Napoleon Streets is home to stylish eateries, tea rooms and plenty of shopping. Cottesloe is 20 minutes from the CBD.

Subiaco
This area buzzes on weeknights and weekends. Rokeby Road and Hay Street is where you’ll find the most action. Subiaco is perhaps best known for its quality restaurants from fine dining to take away, Italian to Asian. The Subiaco Hotel is the central drinking zone, but there are other smaller bars and clubs that get busy once the hotel closes. Subiaco is 10 minutes from the CBD.

Mt Lawley
Beaufort Street is one of the most popular and diverse places to head for a night out. With lively pubs, excellent bars, and some of Perth’s best restaurants, you can’t go wrong. There is also a good mix of noodle and pizza bars. Mt Lawley is 10 minutes from the CBD.

Claremont
The area around Bay View Terrace is full of designer shoppers during the day, who spill into bars, pubs and great pizzeria restaurants at night. Check out the who’s who of Perth’s old-moneyed crowd. Claremont is 15 minutes from the CBD.

Fremantle
The city is well known for its big variety of Italian and seafood restaurants, thanks mostly to its cultural heritage as a fishing port. Pasta, pizza and fish ‘n’ chips are the local fare, but you can also find quality seafood outlets at Fishing Boat Harbour and along South Terrace.  Cafés and pubs are everywhere, all boasting the causal alfresco experience Perth is known for.  Try some locally brewed beer, or grab a coffee and spend time people-watching. Fremantle is 25 minutes from the CBD.
