BMXA OFFICIATING PATHWAY
Every great sport needs great officials.
BMX appreciates the volunteers who dedicate their time as officials,
from local club meetings right through to the national level.
Support and training is provided for you to gain accreditation as an official and enjoy participating at the level you aspire to.
BMX Australia’s Officiating Program aims to educate, assist and develop officials at all levels,
so that they can support the sport of BMX in areas such as Scoring, Race Commissaire, Staging.
Club Officials: For members who would like to officiate at BMXA club racing, assist at training nights and other club activities.
State Officials: For Club Officials who wish to officiate at regional, zone and state level events.
National Officials: For State Officials who wish to officiate at National Series and National Championships. This is an advanced course and candidates must be 18-years of age and have a minimum of two years experience as a State Official.
Elite National Commissaire: The ENC Course is for current State and National Officials who wish to officiate at national and international events within Australia. Application and attendance is subject to demonstration of a high level of commitment and involvement in the BMXA Officials pathway.
