BMX Sports Western Australia State Championships

10-12 October 2019

BMX Sports Western Australia is proud to present the 2019 State Championships,
hosted by Southern Districts BMX Raceway in Medina.
Competition is spectacular with riders spending months in preparation for this event.

State Championships are the pinnacle of BMX in Western Australia, and is open to all WA licenced riders aged from Mini Wheelers 2 years up to the 50+ classes and everyone in between.

The State Championships are held over a 3 day period in October, with preliminary events occurring in the week leading up to it.

 

Pre States – Sunday 6th October

Official Practice & Registration – Thursday 10th October

MiniWheeler, Sprocket & Cruiser – Friday 11th October

All 20″ classes – Saturday 12th October

REGISTRATION: SOUTHERN DISTRICTS BMX RACEWAY

THURSDAY 10th October

Morning Session – 9.00am – 12.10pm   (Lunch Break 12.10pm – 1.00pm)

Afternoon Session – 1.00pm – 4.00pm

Competitors are required to confirm arrival & participation by presenting their current BMX Australia licence

(required for barcode swipe) no later than 4.00pm Thursday 10th October.

Sprockets 9.00am – 9.20am

Cruisers 30 & Over Only 10.00am – 10.20am
Racing Commences 11.10am

Opening Ceremony to commence at 10.30am

Mini Wheelers at 11.10am followed by Sprockets & Cruiser.

(Mini Wheeler Trophy presentation times to be confirmed)

Sprockets and Cruiser racing 4 Motos and Finals

Awards for all will be presented approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of racing at Thomas Kelly Pavilion  (behind BMX Track)

 

SATURDAY 12th OCTOBER

Warmup times  
8-10yrs 20 inch Only 9.00am – 9.25am
11-14yrs 20 inch Only 9.25am – 9.50am
15+ 20 inch Only 9.50am – 10.15am
Elite Men/Women & Jnr Men/Women 10.15am – 10.40am

Parade of Riders commence at 10.45am, followed by 10/15/20 year awards, and Best Club Awards. 

Racing will commence at 11.15am 4 Moto’s and Finals

Awards for all will be presented approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of racing at Thomas Kelly Pavilion (behind the BMX Track)
